Library spaces are known to be buildings and to have items such as books, maps, newspapers, and sometimes even movies. Now libraries are starting to change and technology is starting to take over them. Technology is changing the way of learning, thinking and teaching, therefore, changing the way of education and libraries. However, libraries need to adapt quit to the new technology because libraries provide physical space for people to read the books they provide or study for their classes. Also, libraries are in competition with coffeehouses and bookstores and libraries need to improve their space so they can hold young people such as teens and make as welcoming as the coffeehouse and bookstores. Some see libraries as a way of looking at a business and many have their own opinion on the perspective on libraries. In many different cultures, there are many different ways of how their perspective is on space. For example, for Bhabha is called Third Space and Third Space is when schemes occur. The schemes happen throughout time and it is when it combines and separates in shared spaces and they create new kinds of spaces. Therefore, libraries can be seen as Third Spaces because many different types of people go to the library to do different things like study, read a book, or search the web and all these people need to share the space therein.
