The Types of Trafficking and Anti Trafficking Organization
SEX TRAFFICKING
Sex trafficking is the “recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, obtaining, patronizing, or soliciting of a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act." (Human Trafficking 101: What Is The Difference Between Labor And Sex Trafficking?)
Examples of sex trafficking are sex slavery or prostitution.
LABOR TRAFFICKING
Labor trafficking is transporting victims by coercion, threat, or fraud to perform labor services. (Human Trafficking 101: What Is The Difference Between Labor And Sex Trafficking?) Usually, labor trafficking is forced labor that is against their own will.
Examples of labor trafficking are construction, domestic servants, and factory workers.
ORGAN TRAFFICKING
Organ trafficking is defined as organs being taken from a living or nonliving human, then transported to someone who is willing to pay for a healthy organ that they need.
Many people fall under organ trafficking due to poverty or are kidnapped and forced against their will to give up their organs, such as kidneys and hearts.
